Hunting Hat for hubby

This is my own design for a Hunting hat for Hubby. He wants an orange hat so he will be seen when hunting.
This makes a large hat, if you want a smaller hat cast on 64 sts.
I cast on 68 sts and knit brioche stitch for 10 inches, this will give enough of a cuff to turn up, or roll down when its really cold.
Brioche Stitch
Row 1: * K 1, bring yarn to front, slip next st as if
to purl, yo. Repeat from*
, ending with yarn in
front, slip last stitch as if to purl.
This is a preparation row, work it only
once.
Row 2: K1, * bring yarn to front, slip next stitch
as if to purl, yo, k2tog. Repeat from , ending
yarn in front, slip last stitch as if to purl.

Repeat Row 2 for 10 inches.

Knit 1 row
Knit 6, K2tog, repeat to end of row

Knit 4, K2tog, repeat to end of row

Knit 2, K2tog, repeat to end of row
